Millennium Challenge Account-Armenia Program (MCA-Armenia)
“CARD AgroCredit” UCO has cooperated with the Millennium Challenge Account-Armenia Program (MCA-Armenia) in the scope of “Water to Market” (WtM) credit component to provide long-term and low interest rate agricultural loans for the expansion of agricultural production and introduction of advanced technologies.
The collaboration started in 2009, and till now the lending program is successfully being implemented complying with the WtM objectives.
Though MCA-Armenia has currently stopped its expanded operation in Armenia, WtM credit resources can be refinanced and provided to farmers till 2020 in accordance with the program terms approved previously. At present, “CARD AgroCredit” implements WtM Credit Activity by cooperating with the “Center for Foreign Financial Program Management” state institution of the RA Ministry of Finance.
