The European Investment Bank (EIB) is the European Union’s lender and one of the largest financial institutions. Under the framework of the 4^th tranche, the European Investment Bank offers affordable credit funds to entrepreneurs who, in accordance with the Republic of Armenia’s legislation, expand their activities in the sector of production, tourism, and agriculture. Beneficiaries of the program include small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Armenia (referred to as SMEs) and mid-capitalization organizations (referred to as Mid-Cap). These organizations receive loans aimed at increasing energy efficiency (“green investments”), promoting women’s entrepreneurship, regional development, and financial sub-loans (projects) focused on digitization and automation.

Key advantages of the program include;

• Beneficiaries receive financing at a preferential interest rate, significantly lower than similar loans offered by Card AgroCredit UCO CJSC without EIB financing.


• A flexible loan repayment schedule is provided, including a preferential repayment of the principal amount.
